Yeah, well…that never happened.
Change of plans…
I walked into my apartment and my roommate was sitting on the couch pointing her phone at me. She said she was fixing our Goggle TV so I didn’t think twice about it. Before I could even shut the front door, someone grabs me from behind and screams.
Within that two seconds it took me to turn around, I thought it was our third roommate. We always scare each other and I figured she was getting some much deserved revenge on me for always scaring the shit out of her. lol
Ohhhh no. It wasn’t my roommate.
I stared at this person and blanked. The person looked familiar but I couldn’t match the face to the person.
And then it hit me like a ton of bricks. At that moment I couldn’t breathe. My mind started racing at 100 miles per hour.
The guy I had been talking to that I met on Instagram 6 weeks ago was standing two feet away from me.
Umm, am I dreaming this right now? I have some funky dreams but this seemed all too real. I looked over my shoulder and my roommate sat there filming the entire thing. He and my roommate had been planning this surprise for three weeks. Bitches.
After saying “I can’t believe you’re here right now” at least a bajillion times, we stood in the kitchen and talked for a bit. I called Angela and left her one of those ‘call me back right now!’ sorta voicemails. We met up at Mellow Mushroom with Angela and Sarah and had a good time. He kicked it with my friends which was cool. When we got home we watched Limitless and then headed off to bed.
The next day we got some work done, ate lunch at the pool, worked out at the gym and ended the night by watching an awesome documentary called Stalked: Somebody’s Watching.
Sunday morning he, myself, my two roommates and another friend grabbed Denny’s and he left for Atlanta after brunch.
That was my very unexpected and crazy weekend in a nutshell.
