Animal Holocaust

Out of curiosity to see what exactly I am putting into my body, I went on a documentary spree. After watching one on Netflix, I was mesmerized. First I watched Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, followed with Forks over Knives and finished with Food Inc.

I’m disgusted by the abuse and unethical living arrangements these poor animals are forced into. And it’s all a money pit. The top meat companies only have one thing on their mind, MONEY. Ask my next door neighbor where that same mindset got him…

What frustrated me the most was the false advertising. The media lies so much and gets away with it because of power and money. For example, one of the meat companies has a label that shows a pretty barn with lush rolling green hills in the foreground with the sun protruding off in the distance.

…Than it transitioned to the animal’s actual living conditions. The cows, pigs and chickens are locked; force fed and slaughtered in overcrowded and fece infested environments. Then the animal Nazis pump preservatives into the animal feed to fatten them faster and guess who’s eating those preservatives.

Mmmm you are.

Yes, I’d like a double quarter pounder, two Mc Chickens with extra E-Coli on the side.

And this isn’t just Fast food corporations who are guilty. Tyson, Perdue and all the mass meat packaging companies are just as wicked. Perdue denied all interviews with the documentary which just shows how freaking shady they are.

I know I am only one voice but to help my little farm friends, I’m changing my lifestyle.

I am proud to say I am fully committing to a Pescatarian diet from now on. These documentaries have opened my eyes to the disgusting treatment animals are put through.

  1. I have read that Purdue does a good job raising chickens. They tout the cleanliness of their operation. I don't know about the others.

  2. Dude, I totally get you there....I watched the SAME documentaries on Netflix not too long ago and felt the same way. The problem? I fucking LOVE meat. Like over the tope love meat. So cutting it out? Not really an option for me. BUT...I can be aware of not buying from companies like that...which I TRY to do. It is hard though sometimes.

My cousin did some work at Perdue in North Carolina. He came back from the job and showed me pics on his phone of the conditions with were so gross. I then freaked the fuck out when I realized he could have gotten in a TON of trouble for taking those pictures....those people ARE Nazis, man.

  3. I always wonder what aliens would think if they landed here and watched us eat the other species.
